Licenciada en Letras por la Universidad de La Habana (2010), donde impartió clases de Gramática española y Lingüística durante más de diez años y alcanzó la categoría docente de profesora asistente. También es Licenciada en Humanidades por el Instituto de Estudios Eclesiásticos Padre Félix Varela (2018), institución en la que fue profesora. Es Maestra en Ética Aplicada y Bioética por la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (2022), donde igualmente ha impartido clases. Es cofundadora de los grupos de investigación “Habana. Español Coloquial” (Hab.Es.Co) y de Ameresco-Querétaro, ambos enfocados en el estudio de la conversación coloquial, en diálogo con la metodología propuesta por “América y España. Español Coloquial” (AMERESCO). Ha dictado conferencias y participado en numerosos congresos en Cuba, Alemania, Austria, España, México y Estados Unidos. Sus artículos académicos han sido publicados en libros colectivos y revistas especializadas. Además de su labor docente e investigativa, ha trabajado como editora, revisora y correctora de libros y artículos para la Editorial UH, el Centro de Bioética Juan Pablo II, el Centro de Investigación Social Avanzada (CISAV), Rialta y No Country Magazine. Sus áreas de interés incluyen la pragmalingüística, la sociolingüística, la literatura, la historia y la cultura cubanas, la poesía hispanoamericana y la bioética. Graduated with a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Havana (2010), where she taught Spanish Grammar and Linguistics for over ten years and earned the academic rank of Assistant Professor. She also earned a B.A. in Humanities from the Padre Félix Varela Institute of Ecclesiastical Studies (2018), where she served as a professor. In 2022, she completed an M.A. in Applied Ethics and Bioethics at the Autonomous University of Querétaro, where she has also taught. She is co-founder of the research groups Habana. Español Coloquial (Hab.Es.Co) and Ameresco-Querétaro, both focused on the study of colloquial conversation, in dialogue with the methodology proposed by América y España. Español Coloquial (AMERESCO). She has presented at numerous conferences in Cuba, Germany, Austria, Spain, Mexico, and the United States. Her academic articles have been published in edited volumes and specialized journals. In addition to her teaching and research work, she has worked as an editor, reviewer, and proofreader for books and articles for Editorial UH, the Juan Pablo II Bioethics Center, the Center for Advanced Social Research (CISAV), Rialta, and No Country Magazine. Her areas of interest include Pragmalinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Spanish in the US, interdisciplinary and migration studies, Cuban history and culture, Latin American and Caribean literature and poetry, and (Bio-)ethics.
